Electrode placement is a parameter too

Moving the electrode changes the treatment. Recording placement, or taking a photo, makes the next session repeat what worked.

What to look at before buying electrodes and refills

Criteria from someone who uses it with patients, not from someone who only sells it.

Electrodes are a recurring consumable, and they are where a cheap TENS unit gets its money back. Check the connector before you buy: 2 mm pin and snap connectors are not interchangeable.

A reusable electrode lasts 20 to 30 applications if you clean it and store it on its original liner.
