A complete neurological exam on record

Reflexes, sensation and strength recorded in the same format at every re-evaluation are what reveal progression — or decline — in a neuro patient.

What to look at before buying neurological testing

Criteria from someone who uses it with patients, not from someone who only sells it.

A Buck reflex hammer and a 128 Hz tuning fork complete the basic neurological exam and cost very little for what they add to an assessment.

The fork has to be 128 Hz for vibration sense — forks at other frequencies are made for hearing tests and will not do the job.
